Parent-Teacher Conferences
In October and March, Parent-Teacher Conferences for all children will be scheduled by appointment. Students do not attend school on conference days. The main office will schedule all siblings on the first day of the conferences and teachers will schedule the remaining conferences and notify you of your appointment time. Changing appointments is very difficult, if you have special time restraints, please let the teachers know before they have made the schedule rather than after you receive the information. The expectation of the administration is that every parent will attend the Parent-Teacher Conference on the scheduled, designated Conference day. Emergency individual conferences may be scheduled at additional times throughout the year as the need arises.

Parent/Teacher/Principal Conferences and Communication
From time to time you may have a concern about your child or about the school. It is important that you first share these concerns with your child’s teacher before conferring with the principal. Parents are encouraged to be open and direct with the child’s teacher before discussing concerns with others. We find this approach ensures more effective and positive communication in our school setting.
