Bienvenidos! I’m one of the full-time school counselors at Escuela Key, working with students in Kindergarten, 3rd, and 4th grades.  I earned my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and Masters of Education in School Counseling from Marymount University. I am a member of both the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) and Virginia School Counselor Association (VSCA). This is my 7th year as a school counselor working at Key. Prior to Key, I did my internship at Kenmore Middle School and practicum at Randolph Elementary School. ¡También hablo español! I’m thrilled to be a part of the Key community! Outside of work, you’ll likely find me on my yoga mat, where I love to practice and stay grounded. Music is a big part of my life, whether i’m immersed in my Spotify playlists or catching a live performance. I enjoy spending time with my newly husband, traveling and exploring restaurants. And then there’s Mia, my pug, who never fails to bring a smile to my face and students when they see her pictures in my office.

My office, room 106, is located on the main level, across the gym. I am available to meet with students from 8:50 AM until 3:45 PM. I am available to meet with parents/guardians before or after school.  If you would like to get in contact with me, please feel free to call me directly 703-228-4210 or email for an appointment. Due to confidentiality, I prefer to speak to parents/guardians by phone or in person. I look forward to working together to support our students growth and achievements.
